About This Role
- Integrate and maintain Justride SDKs on embedded devices and onboard vehicle systems, including fare validation and contactless payment handling.
- Develop and maintain features in the Android point of sale app and supporting cloud services for device configuration and monitoring.
- Take ownership of feature development from idea to production, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and troubleshooting across cloud and device environments.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Experience with programming in at least one language and willingness to learn others.
- Familiarity with AWS or a major cloud platform, CI/CD, Git workflows, and Docker.
- Must be based in India and able to work a shifted pattern aligning with UK working hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable working across full stack from embedded device-level programming to cloud services.
- Experience or interest in embedded Linux, Android development, and contactless payment technologies like NFC or EMV.
- Capable of owning complex software components in a cross-functional, international team and handling ambiguous problems.
