About This Role
- Design and develop Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions including integration, migration, and pipeline enhancement.
- Build and maintain data transformation logic and robust data pipelines using SQL, Snowflake stored procedures, and Python scripts to support analytics and application data needs.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings to gather requirements and produce technical design documentation; ensure deployment, monitoring, and operational handover of data pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or database development.
- Strong hands-on skills with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Cloning.
- Experience with cloud storage integrations (AWS S3, Azure Blob), Python/Shell scripting, Git, and Agile/Scrum SDLC environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and optimizing scalable data architectures within Snowflake and cloud ecosystems.
- Practiced in Agile software development processes with good cross-functional collaboration skills for implementing technical solutions aligned to business requirements.
- Capable of documenting technical designs and guiding junior engineers, indicating a senior or lead level operational style.
