About This Role
- Plan and manage procurement activities for assigned vessels ensuring timely material availability with quality and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to ensure material specifications suitability and negotiate for cost savings.
- Oversee purchase requests, vendor payments, invoice processing, and logistics for material transportation to vessels.
Minimum Requirements
- Any Degree.
- 2-4 years experience in Ship Management (Procurement) or related field.
- Knowledge of invoicing/purchase processes and technical understanding of machinery parts and supplies.
- Experience working with multiple locations/ports and handling countries/currencies relevant to shipping procurement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in coordinating procurement in maritime or ship management environments involving multiple stakeholders.
- Capable of vendor negotiation and managing complex supply chains under time-sensitive conditions.
- Proficient in operational follow-ups, managing purchase requests, and financial processes like invoice verification and vendor payments.
