About This Role
- Plan and execute procurement activities for assigned vessels ensuring timely material availability with quality and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with technical superintendents, fleet managers, vendors, and vessels on specifications, purchases, and delivery schedules.
- Manage purchase order processing, vendor negotiations for cost savings, invoice verification, and follow up with accounts for timely vendor payments.
Minimum Requirements
- Any Degree qualification.
- 1-4 years of experience in Ship Management or related procurement roles.
- Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra with mandatory work from office.
- Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in vessel-related procurement within ship management or maritime supply chain environments.
- Comfortable handling multi-party coordination including technical, vendor, crew, and administrative teams under strict timelines.
- Proficient in invoicing, purchase order processing, and vendor payment follow-ups with working knowledge of maritime parts, tools, and supply chain geography.
