About This Role
- Lead design, build, and migration of enterprise data platform pipelines and products onto Microsoft Fabric, consolidating legacy Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and SSIS workloads.
- Own data quality, security, governance, and operational support including automated testing, monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis during critical finance cycles.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers; establish engineering standards and collaborate with global stakeholders across US and other regions.
Minimum Requirements
- 12–18 years professional data and technology experience, including 7+ years hands-on data engineering and 3+ years designing Azure data platform solutions (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, or Fabric).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech).
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python, Microsoft Fabric components, data modeling, and production deployment practices (CI/CD, Git).
- Willingness to work India afternoon hours with 3–4 hour overlap with US Eastern Time; strong English communication skills for global stakeholder interaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior data engineer capable of end-to-end ownership of enterprise-scale data platforms, especially on Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments.
- Proven ability to deliver governed, production-grade finance and business data products integrating Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations data.
- Comfortable operating in multinational and cross-time zone environments with strong global communication and stakeholder management skills.
