About This Role
- Manage and support PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases across public cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, and AWS RDS with focus on installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Provide 24x7 L2 production support in cloud database environments including monitoring, alerting, incident resolution, and updating knowledge base and SOPs.
- Collaborate with end customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams; mentor peers and contribute to technical best practice documentation and architecture design.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of overall operational experience with databases; at least 3 years in GCP cloud as a Cloud DBA with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, restore, and disaster recovery across cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Experience supporting databases in 24x7 production environments with skills in query tuning, shell scripting for monitoring, and database health checks.
- Mandatory certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Google Cloud Associate Engineer; Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.

- Experienced in managing relational and non-relational databases primarily in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS) with solid operational support background.
- Strong technical proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB including backups, restores, migrations, security, and performance optimization in live 24x7 production scenarios.
- Proven ability to work independently, provide knowledge sharing, and interact directly with customers and cross-functional teams to design database architectures and support solutions.
