About This Role
- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL (Patroni), MongoDB, and RedisDB clusters on GCP with responsibilities including installation, configuration, performance tuning, replication, failover, and disaster recovery.
- Provide 24x7 L3 support for cloud databases ensuring automatic failover, leader election, replication health monitoring, and troubleshooting of performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor peers and interact directly with customers and stakeholders to share domain expertise, update documentation, and optimize database operations in diverse cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of overall DBA operational experience including 5+ years in GCP cloud DBA roles with PostgreSQL (Patroni), MongoDB, RedisDB.
- Experience in 24x7 production support for cloud database environments with skills in query fine tuning, backup/restore automation, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Mandatory certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Google Cloud Associate Engineer; preferred but not mandatory: Azure Database (DP-300), AWS Database Specialty, PostgreSQL and MongoDB certifications.

- Deep expertise with PostgreSQL (Patroni) and MongoDB database management in multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) with hands-on troubleshooting and performance optimization experience.
- Proven operational capability supporting mission-critical 24x7 database systems with strong knowledge of replication, failover, monitoring, and scripting for automation.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders and customers for continuous improvement and technical leadership.
