About This Role
- Lead identification, development, and governance of automation and AI tools across design teams to address real project pain points.
- Own and prioritize the backlog of automation requests; define requirements, manage releases, and act as liaison between users, BIM managers, developers, and leadership.
- Drive adoption of automation and AI solutions through user engagement, training, pilot programs, and track success metrics.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-15 years of AEC industry experience with BIM leadership background.
- Strong coding skills with senior software architecture capability; expertise in pyRevit, Dynamo, and Python.
- Experience with AI technologies including large language models, copilot workflows, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development.
- Product ownership experience with Agile backlog management, user story writing, and software delivery using GitHub/version control.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in BIM and AEC technology leadership, able to engage technically with developers and architects.
- Has evolved from roles such as BIM Manager, Design Technology Manager, Digital Practice Leader, or similar, combining technical and strategic ownership.
- Familiar with managing innovation programs involving Revit automation, generative AI, and design automation in an enterprise environment.
