About This Role
- Investigate and analyze complex cybersecurity incidents using digital forensic tools and methodologies.
- Collect, preserve, and document digital evidence maintaining chain-of-custody for forensic accuracy.
- Prepare detailed incident reports including timelines, findings, impact assessments, and recommendations for remediation.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Digital Forensic and Incident Response (DFIR) investigations.
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
- Hands-on experience with forensic tools such as Autopsy, Sleuth Kit, FTK Imager, EnCase, and familiarity with EDR and SIEM platforms like CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Splunk.
- Preferred certifications include GIAC GCIH / GCFA, CEH / CHFI, EnCE, or certifications related to SIEM tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced analyst with strong technical proficiency in Windows/Linux internals, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Capable of handling end-to-end incident investigations including evidence acquisition, analysis, and reporting under pressure with attention to detail.
- Demonstrates practical problem-solving in complex forensic investigations with scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) for automation and data analysis.
