About This Role
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to multiple teams of software engineers handling basic to moderately complex tasks.
- Set and scale operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes across multiple teams.
- Influence budget and operational decisions to advance efficiencies and functionalities while ensuring collaboration and issue mitigation across teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience plus 2+ years leading technologists in complex technical domains.
- Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools with governance, outcomes measurement, and secure handling.
- Strong proficiency with Java, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, automation, continuous delivery, and advanced agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and cloud concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of guiding multiple teams on strategic initiatives and technical coaching, especially in AI-assisted software development.
- Demonstrated expertise in setting team expectations for validating AI tool outputs and responsible AI use with data sensitivity and security considerations.
- Background in software development with skills in Java and AWS, capable of influencing operating practices and driving multi-team collaboration.
