About This Role
- Lead design, development, and technical troubleshooting of secure, scalable software solutions primarily using Java and AWS within Consumer & Community Banking.
- Drive adoption and best practices for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes across the team.
- Lead evaluation of external and internal technical solutions to ensure architectural fit and drive stable, automated remediation of recurring issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies, especially Java and Springboot, with experience building microservices-based applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience leading or adopting AI-assisted software development tools and knowledge of secure, compliant responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise-level software delivery within financial services, familiar with banking IT systems and domain requirements.
- Able to independently solve complex design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision and lead team practices around AI-assisted development.
- Comfortable working in agile environments with advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security principles.
