About This Role
- Own and execute automation testing (API and UI) to ensure product quality for the OpenBlue platform focusing on edge computing and cloud-based systems.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts and review test plans in coordination with architects and senior engineers to align with overall architecture.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test script issues, propose technical solutions, and participate in technical discussions with global teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-11 years experience in software product testing and automation.
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science.
- Expert-level coding skills in Python, pytest, Selenium or Protractor/Playwright with minimum 2 years automation experience.
- Experience with Windows and Linux platforms, knowledge of GITHUB and Scrum methodology, and experience working with globally distributed teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to operate as an individual contributor with readiness to take hands-on technical lead responsibilities.
- Strong technical automation skills combined with experience in protocols like MQTT, Modbus, OPCUA/DA, BacNet (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience in collaborating with architects and senior technical members for solution alignment and quality standards enforcement.
