About This Role
- Own detailed technical design and decomposition across application, data, and integration layers ensuring scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven components.
- Drive engineering quality through hands-on code reviews, enforcing standards and mentoring engineers across backend, frontend, data, and platform disciplines.
- Collaborate with architects and TPMs to validate trade-offs, ensure technical feasibility, align delivery timelines, and lead troubleshooting of complex production issues in distributed systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of software engineering experience with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on backend development experience in Java, Python, or similar technologies with expertise in RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
- Experience designing distributed systems including microservices, event-driven architectures, and building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipeline implementation, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Experienced technical leader skilled at detailed low-level design and translating architecture into executable solutions across multiple technical domains.
- Proficient in balancing performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability trade-offs in large, distributed systems with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working closely with architects, TPMs, and diverse engineering teams to ensure alignment and ownership of end-to-end delivery outcomes.
