About This Role
- Design, implement, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for IBM Z (Mainframe) environments.
- Lead and support IBM Z disaster recovery exercises, failover testing, and recovery events to ensure systems meet Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate recovery operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in enterprise resiliency and business continuity.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years experience in IBM Z (Mainframe) platform administration, operations, and infrastructure support in large-scale enterprises.
- Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity activities.
- Knowledge of IBM Z infrastructure components including z/OS, storage, networking, database, middleware, and security technologies.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years in relevant IBM Z and DR environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in technical leadership and hands-on recovery execution within complex enterprise IBM Z environments.
- Familiar with IBM GDPS, Parallel Sysplex, replication technologies, and DR orchestration tools to manage high-availability and business continuity.
- Proficient in validating and analyzing recovery outcomes with a strong understanding of incident management, infrastructure operations, and compliance in disaster recovery contexts.
