About This Role
- Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities for new or revised systems in coordination with Technology team.
- Partner with management to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
- Provide technical expertise, oversee coding standards, and coach mid-level developers, ensuring compliance with firm policies and risk controls.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis, including project management.
- Expert-level skills in Python and Spark with 9+ years of software building and platform engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies including Spark, Hive, Trino, Pinot Cluster; proficiency in Python libraries like pandas, numpy, scipy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of applications development with leadership and project management skills.
- Experienced in building high-scaled, performant data computation and processing platforms.
- Able to adjust priorities quickly and provide clear, concise communication; experience with banking domain (pricing, risk) is a plus.
