About This Role
- Lead design and evolution of Kubernetes platform architecture for healthcare applications including cluster strategy, upgrades, and standards.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), observability, security compliance, and cloud cost optimization with measurable savings.
- Mentor engineers, lead incident response, and partner with development and leadership to shape platform roadmap and governance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in Systems Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with 3+ years managing Kubernetes in production.
- Expert-level skills in Kubernetes administration (AKS, EKS, OpenShift), Helm, Kustomize, Docker; advanced Terraform and Ansible or similar tools.
- Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Deep Azure cloud expertise including networking, identity, security, cost management; experience in regulated environments not mandatory but preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader capable of standardizing and scaling Kubernetes platforms in regulated (healthcare) or complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, secure CI/CD pipelines, and drive operational excellence at enterprise scale.
- Strong track record in incident management, platform security compliance (HIPAA or equivalent), and cross-team collaboration to influence platform strategy.
