About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise voice back-end software focusing on root-cause analysis, fixing defects, and delivering patches across Linux and Windows environments.
- Design and implement automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests using Python and Playwright, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate across teams to improve product quality, share best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, and effort estimation.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern C++, multithreading, memory management, and back-end/server application development on Linux and Windows.
- Proficient in Python for test automation, experience with Playwright, pytest, and debugging tools like WinDbg, gdb, and Valgrind.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in sustaining engineering, including defect fixes, patches, hotfixes, and version management for complex software products.
- Skilled in deep debugging and root-cause analysis of memory leaks, heap corruption, and concurrency issues in enterprise voice or unified messaging products.
- Operating knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated test frameworks, and use of AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot as part of development and testing workflows.
