About This Role
- Design, build, deploy, and own production AI and speech platform services powering LLM-powered conversation analysis, transcription, and AI agents.
- Optimize large-scale AI pipelines balancing cost, latency, and quality across multiple model providers.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 engineers, collaborating closely with product, data, and platform teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, Go, or similar); strong engineering fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, databases, caching, message brokers, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with large language models (LLM) APIs and AI workloads, including prompt engineering, cost management, and model optimization or willingness to learn rapidly.
- Demonstrates ownership mentality with experience leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end software lifecycle including DevOps duties.
- Ability to work across complex AI infrastructure and distributed backend systems at scale with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
