About This Role
- Lead enterprise-wide data modeling initiatives including design and governance of comprehensive data models following dimensional and Data Vault 2.0 techniques.
- Develop and implement data architecture strategies ensuring alignment with business goals, technology roadmaps, and data governance standards.
- Provide mentorship and thought leadership to data modeling teams, advocate best practices, and influence cross-functional data governance and integration efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in enterprise data modeling, data architecture, data governance, and information management.
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like ERwin Data Modeler and modern data platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
- Location: Bangalore; Role Type: Hybrid; Seniority: Assistant Vice President level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in strategic data modeling and data architecture within large enterprises, preferably with exposure to banking industry data models.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and govern enterprise data standards and lead cross-functional collaboration across business, architecture, engineering, and governance teams.
- Proven track record in driving data modernization initiatives, mentoring teams, and influencing senior stakeholders on data strategy and governance decisions.
