About This Role
- Lead design, scalability, and reliability of internal healthcare Kubernetes platform including cluster strategy and multi-environment standards.
- Own deployment standards using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps, plus architect enterprise CI/CD pipelines with security and governance.
- Drive platform security compliance (HIPAA), cloud cost optimization (FinOps), incident response, and mentor engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in Systems Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with 3+ years managing Kubernetes in production.
- Expert in Kubernetes administration (AKS, EKS, or OpenShift), Docker, Helm, Kustomize; skilled in Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Strong Azure cloud experience (networking, identity, security, cost management); CI/CD tools experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
- Experience with healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA) and compliance is required or strongly preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to deliver a self-service, standardized Kubernetes platform with defined SLOs and reduced incidents.
- Experience automating infrastructure and deployments fully using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.
- Track record in achieving audit-ready security/compliance postures and measurable cloud cost savings in regulated environments.
