About This Role
- Lead design and development of high-volume, low-latency messaging microservices supporting Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS channels.
- Drive technical decisions, coding standards, best practices, and mentor engineers for distributed messaging services.
- Manage troubleshooting, performance optimization, monitoring, and support cloud-native multi-region deployments ensuring availability and security.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- 9-12 years of software engineering experience in enterprise product development.
- Proven hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka and/or RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
- Experience working with at least one public cloud platform (GCP preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building microservices and distributed systems for high-volume messaging platforms in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
- Strong technical leadership capability demonstrated by driving complex technical assignments and mentoring teams.
- Familiar with messaging technologies (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS) and associated delivery concepts (routing, retries, bounce processing).
