About This Role
- Lead the modernization of the Adaptive ERP platform, owning architecture, roadmap, service decomposition, and migration strategies.
- Set and enforce engineering standards across Java services, backend/frontend architecture, API design, security, and performance.
- Design and drive CI/CD pipelines, release strategy, and quality gates, while mentoring other architects and resolving technical conflicts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 13+ years of professional software engineering experience including senior technical leadership or architect roles in product companies, preferably ERP or enterprise application vendors.
- Experience leading architecture for large, complex products or platforms and mentoring senior engineers or architects.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Pune with 3-4 days per week at office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep systems engineering expertise in Java/Spring services, distributed/cloud-native architectures, and enterprise ERP platforms beyond implementation experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proven track record of improving CI/CD and release engineering practices at scale with measurable impact on delivery speed and reliability.
- Experienced in balancing innovation and stability in large organizations, able to influence cross-functional teams, and comfortable experimenting with AI integration in enterprise workflows.
