About This Role
- Analyze and transform business requirements into scalable, resilient data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.
- Own, improve, and maintain high-quality, dependable data pipelines and applications using Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform within an agile environment.
- Build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments; collaborate across DevOps, Data, UX, and Testing teams to ensure high availability and quick resolution of production issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in data engineering with cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Azure platforms.
- Proficiency with Python, AWS services (including Lambda, SageMaker, Step Functions), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, MLflow, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- Location: Bangalore. Certifications in AWS or Azure preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and implementing cloud-native, serverless, and containerized data engineering solutions at scale with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Databricks, cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and AI/ML model management tools and concepts.
- Operates effectively in cross-functional agile teams and values high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on scalability, security, and operational excellence.
