About This Role
- Own backend architecture and set foundational standards for scalable, correct, and affordable AI-driven systems used by urban households.
- Design system boundaries and safety measures ensuring multi-tenant isolation, reliability, and performance under concurrency and scale.
- Lead design decisions including build-vs-buy calls, mentor team members, and improve team standards through code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of backend and distributed systems experience with real architecture ownership.
- Proven experience designing scalable, concurrent systems ensuring correctness, affordability, and failure mode handling.
- Demonstrated skills in data modeling, consistency, isolation, and operational reliability.
- Location Requirement: Must work from Bengaluru office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with high-stakes, agentic or AI-driven, event-sourced, or transactional system architectures.
- Capable of independently identifying risks and owning architecture decisions early in project lifecycle.
- Skilled at raising technical bar through mentorship and setting team-wide technical standards.
