About This Role
- Lead design, architecture, and implementation of Skylo Data Mobility Platform and/or Subscriber & Provisioning Platform backend services.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native, scalable, resilient microservices including REST APIs using Java/GoLang and related cloud technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers, implement best practices, own testing and deployment pipelines, and enforce security and observability standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years professional software development experience focused on OOP and distributed microservices.
- Proficiency in Java and Go; experience with Spring-Boot or Go frameworks to develop microservices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (specifically GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and messaging systems like Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; role located in Bangalore with onsite presence 3 days a week.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and scaling distributed systems for massive horizontal scalability and resilience.
- Strong backend engineer with hands-on expertise in cloud-native microservices architecture, API design (REST/gRPC), and database optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
- Able to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and drive adoption of new technologies and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
