About This Role
- Own full lifecycle development and delivery of custom Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Lead architectural decisions and drive migration from legacy code to modern Android standards using Clean Architecture and MVVM.
- Manage technical debt, refactor codebases, and ensure high-quality unit testing and application performance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional hands-on Android development experience.
- Strong Kotlin proficiency at production level.
- Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and unit testing covering production code.
- Experience working in distributed teams using modern development workflows including Git and CI/CD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading Android projects with ownership of architecture and delivery.
- Proficient in asynchronous programming in Kotlin using Coroutines and Flow and modern Android libraries (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).
- Capable of managing technical debt and evolving legacy Java codebases towards Kotlin and modern Android standards while maintaining performance and security best practices.
