About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions primarily using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, test, debug, and resolve application issues promptly.
- Support product releases and ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in software design and development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8+, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud; familiarity with Azure preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Database 19C, Hibernate & JPA, distributed systems, messaging platforms (MQ, Kafka), RESTful APIs, SQL, and database tuning including PostgreSQL.
- Domain knowledge in financial services sector, preferably cross-border payments; understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing and maintaining complex financial software applications in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Capability to independently solve moderately complex technical problems and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- Comfortable working with distributed systems, message queues, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure) within financial industry contexts, especially payments domain.
