About This Role
- Own development and maintenance of reusable automated test code to reduce manual testing efforts within Agile teams.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure feature quality and collaborate closely with product managers and scrum teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Provide technical mentorship and proactively enhance test coverage and acceptance criteria while promoting high-quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience including manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with automation tools and languages, preferably Playwright and Typescript.
- Strong SQL skills for data verification, familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile and Scrum environments with hands-on knowledge of test case management tools like TestRail.
- Demonstrates ownership mindset, able to proactively identify issues and communicate risks to senior leadership.
- Skilled in using modern source control (Git) and CI/CD practices, preferably with exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines.
