About This Role
- Validate Ovation Digital Twin and related mathematical models representing power generation plant equipment.
- Prepare and execute boiler, Balance of Plant, turbine, and associated system modeling and testing scenarios.
- Develop and maintain hardware/virtual test setups; perform smoke, first pass, regression testing; log and report defects.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation or modeling.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with multiple testing methodologies and agile development/testing approaches.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in power plant system modeling and test validation with a focus on Ovation Digital Twin technology.
- Practiced in preparing detailed heat balance calculations and coaching junior team members.
- Skilled in collaborating across developers and testers within agile teams to improve test coverage and defect tracking.
