About This Role
- Develop and ship M's native Android app from scratch using Kotlin, focusing on a real-time, AI-driven conversational experience.
- Own features end-to-end including performance optimization across diverse devices and network conditions.
- Collaborate with Backend and Design teams to ensure fast, trustworthy app performance especially on low-end devices, and contribute to roadmap planning.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience building and shipping native Android apps using Kotlin to the Play Store.
- Proven expertise handling real-device challenges including diverse Android devices and unreliable network conditions.
- Experience with real-time data and messaging-style UIs.
- Location Requirement: Must work full-time from office in Indiranagar, Bengaluru.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in Android development with a focus on real-time and messaging or chat applications.
- Ability to optimize app performance on low-end devices and handle streaming or AI-driven responses on mobile.
- Capable of full ownership of large app features including architecture, deployment, and user experience under resource constraints.
