About This Role
- Maintain and update lease data accurately in designated systems.
- Prepare and post lease-related journal entries compliant with US GAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAP, including ROUA and lease liability valuations.
- Perform monthly lease-related closing activities and prepare reports for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16, ASC 842, and Local GAAP.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in lease accounting or financial controllership.
- Graduation in Finance; CA, CMA, or ACCA qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and lease accounting standards (IFRS 16/ASC 842/Local GAAP).
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and workflow automation; experience with SAP S4/ECC or large ERP platforms is optional but advantageous.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with lease accounting and month-end closing processes related to leases under multiple accounting standards.
- Skilled in working within ERP environments and capable of collaborating with finance, legal, and operations teams to gather lease information.
- Able to streamline processes using advanced Excel and automation, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
