About This Role
- Manage accounting operations and financial close activities for India entities ensuring accuracy of general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany transactions.
- Drive internal controls including control design, testing, remediation, and compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP alongside audit coordination.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives focusing on process simplification, standardization, automation, and digitalization while collaborating cross-functionally.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, reporting, including statutory and internal audits in a global or shared services environment.
- Experience finalizing local books as per local GAAP and managing successful audits.
- Proficient with ERP systems (SAP) and exposure to automation or digital finance initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong accounting and control expertise with the ability to collaborate across Asia regional, corporate controllership, and global teams.
- Experience handling pressure situations with ownership of critical accounting or control issues.
- Demonstrated capability in driving process improvements and finance transformation within complex, multinational environments.
