About This Role
- Develop and execute end-to-end packaging procurement category strategy aligned with Hershey India's business goals.
- Lead competitive bidding processes (RFX), evaluate supplier quotes, and negotiate commercial and legal terms for long-term agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and ensure supply continuity, quality, and delivery of cost savings initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10 years experience in sourcing direct materials with a focus on packaging material spend.
- Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies, RFX/RFQ/RFP bidding, supplier management, and category management.
- Education: B.E., Packaging Technology; MBA; or Materials Management degree.
- Work Experience Required: 6-10 years in relevant procurement roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in strategic sourcing and category management within packaging materials.
- Skilled in supplier negotiation, cost benchmarking, and risk mitigation related to supply chain and material inflation.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Packaging Development, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
