About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI-powered applications and services using modern software engineering practices and cloud-native design.
- Define and implement foundational AI platforms and reusable tools (e.g., conversational bots, AI-powered search, unstructured data processing) at enterprise scale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and product managers to rapidly deploy scalable AI solutions that generate real business value.
Minimum Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience with ability to deliver complex systems independently in production.
- Strong programming skills primarily in Python, Java, or similar languages; experience with microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems (e.g., LLM APIs, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, AI agents).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), modern DevOps practices, and software architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the intersection of software engineering and practical AI application development.
- Experience working in embedded (forward-deployed) team models closely partnered with business customers.
- Track record of building production reliable AI applications and platforms that scale across an enterprise.
