About This Role
- Design and develop AI-powered applications and backend services including proofs of concept, MVPs, and production-grade solutions.
- Build comprehensive Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic workflow solutions integrating enterprise data, APIs, and AI frameworks with focus on security, compliance, and Responsible AI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define engineering standards, automate validation, and ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable AI application delivery in an Agile environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong software engineering experience delivering secure, reliable enterprise backend services or distributed systems with independence at senior level.
- Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, including practical experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI frameworks such as Anthropic APIs, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or LangChain.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python preferred), SQL/NoSQL databases, API design, automated testing, CI/CD, and production support practices.

- Experienced in practical AI application development with strong knowledge of advanced AI workflows, RAG architecture, and embedding enterprise data securely.
- Comfortable operating independently with a strong engineering mindset to build scalable, secure, and compliant AI-based backend services in a payment or highly regulated technology environment.
- Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into operational AI solutions that adhere to high standards of security, privacy, and Responsible AI.
