About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of cloud-native, microservices-based applications within the Sypher team.
- Own agile commitments, execution, operational readiness, and collaboration with Product Management and Platform Engineering.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership including architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and continuous integration/delivery process implementation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years system engineering experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years skilled system engineering experience.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade services.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native applications using microservices architecture and deploying on cloud platforms such as AWS and PCF.
- Work Timings: Availability required 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (India 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST) for meetings; rest flexible.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading and delivering cloud-native, microservices-based applications with enterprise-scale delivery focus.
- Skilled in designing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to production.
- Familiar with secure development practices including encryption/tokenization, observability tools (Splunk, New Relic), and has experience collaborating across geographic teams and vendors in a regulated/banking environment.
