About This Role
- Manage daily operations of data governance and cataloguing platforms, including onboarding data sources and automating data discovery and classification.
- Optimize Snowflake data platform performance and cost via roles, grants, warehouses, and compute scaling.
- Develop and maintain metadata management assets; support data quality, lineage, PII classification, and governance using automation and AI tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Snowflake and database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially EC2 and S3.
- Strong Python programming and API automation skills.
- Experience in data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and PII classification is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in configuring and managing data governance platforms like Precisely Data Integrity Suite or similar.
- Capable of collaborating with diverse teams including Data Owners, Stewards, and Governance to improve data quality and reporting.
- Proficient in balancing technical platform optimization with data governance and automation responsibilities.
