About This Role
- Own day-to-day operations, availability, performance, and security of enterprise Oracle database platforms in production environments.
- Implement automation-first approaches for installing, upgrading, patching, and managing Oracle databases to improve scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate with application and cloud teams to optimize performance, support migrations, monitor database health, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional Oracle database administration experience in enterprise, production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including Oracle Database on OCI and Oracle Exadata Cloud Service.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database operations such as performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high-availability architectures.
- Experience with Linux systems and database automation or scripting for reliability improvement.
