About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using the Mendix low-code platform ensuring quality, security, compliance, and GxP standards.
- Lead MES solution delivery across multiple MES systems, including integrating applications with REST/SOAP APIs, databases and enterprise systems and supporting deployment and lifecycle management.
- Promote standardization, reusable solutions, best practices and mentor junior developers while driving operational improvements and supporting audits and compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Automation, Data, Life Sciences or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience with Mendix MES platform and ability to work across multiple MES systems.
- Experience in Mendix application development including domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, security, integrations, API development, and application lifecycle management within manufacturing or MES environments.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools with strong knowledge of compliance to GxP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and software quality standards.

- Experienced technical leader able to manage end-to-end MES solution delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Comfortable working in regulated manufacturing environments with a focus on compliance, audit support, risk management and operational stability.
- Strong at mentoring developers and enforcing best practices, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
