About This Role
- Own automation development and maintenance for backend APIs and end-to-end billing workflows with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
- Validate complex billing processes including ingestion, enrichment, rating, PayG, term and hybrid pricing models, and reconciliation workflows.
- Lead Round-1 automation code reviews and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure regression coverage.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, API testing, and backend testing.
- Proficient in Python 3, scripting for automation, and CI/CD automated regression frameworks.
- Degree requirement: B.Tech / B.E / M.E. / M.Tech (Computer Science) / MCA or equivalent.
- Experience with billing, financial, or data-intensive systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automated testing of distributed backend and REST API systems with a deep understanding of backend failures and async workflows.
- Capable of developing reliable test-data generation, data validation, and reconciliation for systems with financial/customer impact.
- Skilled in debugging, root-cause analysis, and integrating automation into CI/CD within complex cloud environments using AWS technologies such as Lambda, ECS, and RDS.
