About This Role
- Develop and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks using Python, Pyspark, SQL, and Databricks especially for Cloud/Big Data environments.
- Implement, execute, and debug automated and manual test scripts covering UI, services, API microservices, and performance testing, including integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and provide technical guidance including code reviews, test documentation, and use of DevOps tools for deployment and monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on automation testing in Cloud/Big Data technologies.
- Proficient in Python and Pyspark to create scalable automation testing frameworks in Cloud environments, with strong SQL and relational database (PostgreSQL preferred) knowledge.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and related DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitHub/Bitbucket).
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building end-to-end test automation frameworks specifically for Big Data and cloud platforms, comfortable with Python/Pyspark and automation of APIs and microservices.
- Familiar with Agile development environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Technical thinker with deep expertise in Cloud (Azure preferred), data engineering tools (Hive, Databricks, Airflow), and performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
