About This Role
- Lead multiple India-based engineering teams to deliver and scale enterprise-grade, reusable platform services for Caterpillar’s Helios data platform.
- Own end-to-end delivery including design, development, deployment, and operations, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders on platform strategy, architecture adoption (cloud-native, microservices, APIs), and drive platform adoption and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- 18+ years of software engineering experience including platform or enterprise-scale systems.
- 8+ years in engineering leadership managing multiple teams and managers.
- Strong expertise with cloud-native platforms (AWS), Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, distributed systems, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
- Must be able to work onsite in India full-time; Visa sponsorship not available.
