About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas within Consumer and Community Banking.
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, ensuring outputs meet secure coding standards.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex Java-based distributed systems, including RESTful/event-driven microservices using Spring Boot/Cloud with asynchronous messaging.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using modern languages including Java and database querying languages.
- Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and ability to validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems in Java, including building RESTful/event-driven microservices with Spring Boot/Cloud and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalents).

- Proficient in integrating and guiding safe, responsible AI usage within engineering workflows addressing data sensitivity and security concerns.
- Skilled in analyzing and improving coding hygiene and system architecture by synthesizing large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
