About This Role
- Lead design, development, and operation of scalable full-stack software solutions including frontend, backend, APIs, and large-scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Drive architecture discussions and engineering standards focused on performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and security across JVM-based distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
- Own complex problem spaces end-to-end, mentor engineers, lead incident response, and align technical solutions with business objectives while influencing cross-team engineering direction.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, JVM ecosystem, microservices, distributed systems, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hybrid work mode requiring minimum two days per week onsite at assigned TransUnion office location.
