About This Role
- Monitor and investigate security alerts related to privileged accounts and elevated access using Splunk.
- Analyze identity and security telemetry to identify unauthorized or anomalous privileged activity and document investigation findings.
- Collaborate with technology and security teams to resolve issues, identify false positives, tune alerts, and improve security monitoring use cases.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 5 years relevant IT experience or up to 7 years without a degree.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience using Splunk for security monitoring.
- At least 3 years combined successful work experience including system development.
- Work timing aligned with US Eastern Time (4:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST) with flexible local working hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in SOC/security monitoring, SIEM analysis, and investigations related to identity or access management.
- Strong Splunk and SPL skills with hands-on experience analyzing security telemetry.
- Comfortable working across multiple IT and cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
