Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own the end-to-end audio signal processing pipeline, converting advanced algorithms into production-ready real-time embedded code.
- Design and optimize robust, low-latency audio frameworks and algorithms such as noise cancellation, beamforming, and spatial audio for embedded/mobile platforms.
- Lead validation through acoustic measurements and listening tests; mentor junior engineers and enforce engineering best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field focused on Audio Signal Processing.
- 5+ years of industry experience in real-time audio software development.
- Expertise in C and C++ programming for resource-constrained embedded environments, with proficiency in MATLAB and Python (NumPy/SciPy).
- Deep understanding of DSP concepts like fixed/floating-point math, filter design, frequency-domain processing; familiarity with audio protocols and frameworks (e.g., I2S, ALSA).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior DSP engineer skilled in both algorithm research and embedded implementation for real-time audio systems.
- Comfortable leading technical mentorship and driving best engineering practices in a collaborative development environment.
- Knowledgeable in cutting-edge DSP architectures (Qualcomm, TI, ARM Cortex) and applying machine learning techniques to audio processing.
