About This Role
- Own development, maintenance, and support of mainframe applications using CICS and VSAM.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and perform coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Participate in production support, ensuring application performance, reliability, and timely issue resolution within SLAs.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with CICS, VSAM, COBOL, and JCL.
- Mandatory work location: Chennai (Siruseri) with UK shift hours (rotational shifts).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech) or MCA required.
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years in mainframe application development with CICS focus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on mainframe technologies.
- Experienced in maintaining scalable, reliable CICS-based applications with good understanding of mainframe architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and retail domain is a plus but not mandatory.
