About This Role
- Design, develop, and deliver Java-based API services for Mastercard's data accessibility digital platform.
- Plan and execute the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to meet product and business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (BE/BTech).
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot and Spring Security), and RESTful web services.
- Experience in building cloud-ready, microservices-based applications and knowledge of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, high-performance systems and independently producing extensible software designs and modular code.
- Able to own APIs from development through production support, demonstrating accountability for delivered services.
- Comfortable working in a matrix-based, diverse, distributed environment and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.
