About This Role
- Collaborate with Eaton's mobility business units to develop and implement data science-based product features, focusing on mobility and automotive applications.
- Lead research, design, and deployment of machine learning and AI algorithms considering system and platform constraints, overseeing projects from concept to production and monitoring.
- Manage project roadmaps, resource estimation, cross-functional team collaboration, and mentor team members while contributing to IP creation including patents and publications.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial engineering, or other numerate degree.
- 6+ years of progressive experience applying data science to real-world problems.
- Proficiency in developing AI/ML algorithms including deep learning, with excellent Python programming skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

- Experienced in leading complex data science projects independently with technical and strategic ownership in mobility or automotive domains.
- Research-oriented with strong ability to engage deeply with academic literature and conduct extensive problem-solving research.
- Skilled at working cross-functionally in fast-paced, Agile environments and contributing to intellectual property through disclosures, patents, or publications.
