About This Role
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and microservices for CorePayment application modernization.
- Build and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes configurations; contribute to CI/CD automation, release readiness, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to perform testing, debugging, and resolve production issues while ensuring security and coding standards compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of Java backend development experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for deployment and troubleshooting of containerized Java applications.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, relational databases, and CI/CD pipeline tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years in Java backend development; Location: Vadodara (Client office, Hybrid).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to build scalable backend services and manage regional application deployments in payment or banking domains.
- Experience working in environments using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation with regular collaboration across DevOps and QA teams.
- Comfortable with production support responsibilities including debugging, performance optimization, and release management.
